History has been made !
Wow, how crazy…
What an experience…
What a challenge…
And we succeeded 💪🏻 Yes we succeeded…
Proud to be part of the first team from Israel
And only number 45 in the entire world!!!
That swims the 35 km of the Northern Canal between Northern Ireland and Scotland.
On 20.09.2022 at 6:30 we started swimming at the beach of Dongahadee town in Northern Ireland…
The sea in the northern canal did not make life easy for us, we certainly understood on our flesh why it is considered the hardest challenge in the world of challenging swimming.
The zeros of man in front of the stubborn nature can’t be.
More accurate than that,
Miles of cold water all around, waves and currents coming from every direction (including down) no matter how hard you work swimming you can’t move forward, you can’t slow down or stop because then you drift backwards, what’s especially difficult about this sea is that you can’t anticipate it and the current can take you away from the goal without control. ..
13 hours and 47 minutes later, after swimming some 35km we touched the rocky coast of Scotland near Port Patrick.
It’s hard to describe this wonderful feeling
That immense and rare feeling of satisfaction
And now I want to say thank you to the wonderful group of Northern Exposure who shared this tremendous experience with me
Gadi Benjamin
Noa Zvi
Eyal Zeldin
Itai Orenstein
Zvica Zvi Goltzman
Pictured below you can see our signature on the wall at Pier 36 Pub reserved only for those who successfully made it across the canal.
I also want to thank Jacqueline, Ianand the wonderful team of infinity channel swimming, who gave a professional envelope, knowledge and assistance at the highest level!
In the next video you can see this amazing place and the way we went through here from training through swimming to touching the beaches of Scotland.
Have a good time friends…
And see you soon in Israel 😘❤️
Stay cool
