It’s the first chance I’ve had to relax and reflect. My body might be aching and tired but it’s not broken, neither is my spirit.
infinity Channel Swimming Hit the Wall 2024 pushed me and challenged me from the word go, it’s certainly is a eat, sleep, swim and repeat type of weekend.
4 days 7 swims
Day 1 – N/Ice swim if you know you know 🤪✅
Day 2 – Greers to Omeath ✅and Battle of The Battle of Carlingford Lough Swim 2024 but with a twist this year because of the wind. 3 laps of 2.5k course ✅
Day 3 Champions of Champion
1st Swim 8k ✅
2nd Swim 5k ✅
3rd Swim 3k ✅
Day 4 – 10 Hour Swim ✅
None of this would be possible without the fantastic and amazing Infinity Crew and volunteers who make this weekend what it is, who’s flexible attitude, drive and determination makes sure not no matter the weather and conditions they can invoke plan B, C or even D to make it happen. Thank you 🙏.
Lastly the weekend wouldn’t be complete without being surrounded my some like minded and amazing people. It’s always great to see old friends and make new.
