I can’t thank them enough for their support and the infectious love for open water swimming they create up in Carlingford. The Lough was a bit moody today, the winds picked up and gave us a slapping, letting us all know who was really in charge.
A baby lions mane that I was so very proud of swimming over to avoid its sting also had the last word with my foot. Those tentacles are loooong. Feeling ready for the Port Oriel swim now. Just need to stay focused for four more weeks. Thanks @sarahswims04 for knowing how to coach me 😂. You are one in a million. Had lots left in the tank thanks to your sessions and guidance.
